Active since 2001 at the Prato campus of the University of Florence, the three-year Bachelor’s Degree Programme Pro.Ge.A.S., unique in Italy, trains professionals capable of designing and managing events, enterprises, and institutions in the fields of performing arts and visual arts. The programme combines a solid grounding in theatre, film, music, and art (approached through historical, anthropological, and analytical perspectives) with the acquisition of economic, legal, digital, and linguistic skills essential for working within the Italian and European cultural system. Graduates of Pro.Ge.A.S. acquire the tools needed to navigate cultural production, organization, and communication, developing planning, managerial, and relational competences. Teaching maintains an ongoing dialogue with theatres, museums, public institutions, and local cultural organizations, offering laboratory activities and direct engagement with the professional world. The programme prepares students for organizational and managerial roles in the performing arts and cultural sectors and provides access to the Master’s Degree LM-65.
