Procedure for Activating a Curricular Internship

Safety requirements – Before beginning the internship, it is essential to hold a workplace health and safety training certificate (general training, 4 hours in duration).

Finding a host company or organisation – You can find a host for your internship through the UNIFI database: https://sol.unifi.it/stage/stud_jsp/login.jsp; the mailing list of your degree programme (to receive targeted offers). If you have an independent proposal from a company: (a) approval from the university tutor (Prof.ssa Simoncini) is required; (b) a request for formalisation of the agreement must be sent to andrea.deliguori@pin.unifi.it.

Activation request – Once an agreement has been reached with the company, send an email to andrea.deliguori@pin.unifi.it(copying the company and university tutor) with: first and last name; degree programme; student ID number; name of the company (as listed in the UNIFI database). You will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to proceed.

Completing and validating the Training Project – Complete the training project online together with the company. Bring it to the Internship Office for validation (once validated, it cannot be amended).

Internship activation – The project must be signed by: company manager; company tutor; university tutor; student. Submit the signed project to the Internship Office at least 5 days before the start date. The Internship Office will notify the company, the Employment Office, INAIL, and trade union representatives. The internship is officially active only after this notification.

During the internship – Regularly update the Internship Diary, signed by the relevant contacts.

Completion – Complete the final online questionnaire from the day after the official end of the internship. Tutors will complete their respective questionnaires and the final report. Submit the Internship Diary to the Internship Office within 1 month.
